FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before booking your stay in Taghazout or Tamraght.
Where are your surf camps located?+
We have several surf camps located in Taghazout and Tamraght, in the bay of Taghazout, about 30 minutes north of Agadir, Morocco.
How do I get to the surf camp?+
Agadir airport is reachable from most major European cities in 2 to 4 hours of flight (EasyJet, Ryanair, WizzAir, British Airways, Transavia). From the airport, our camps are a 50-minute drive away, and the arrival transfer is included. The Agadir bus station is 25 minutes away.
What's the climate like? When is the best time to come?+
In Taghazout and Tamraght, the climate feels like summer all year round, between 20 and 30°C. January is the coolest month with an average of 21°C, and the region only sees 2 to 3 weeks of rain per year. Beginners can surf year-round; for intermediate and advanced levels, high season offers the best waves.
Can I come alone?+
Absolutely! We welcome plenty of solo travellers, women and men alike. The vibe is very friendly and you spend most of the day as a group, so new friendships form naturally.
I've never surfed before, is that a problem?+
Not at all! Everyone starts somewhere. We love welcoming beginners and our coaches are trained to guide you through your very first steps on a board, with a maximum of 5 surfers per coach.
I'm an intermediate/advanced surfer, do you offer suitable lessons?+
Of course! High season is ideal for experienced surfers, with more powerful waves. The region has 25 different spots: beach breaks, reef breaks and point breaks. Our coaches teach both longboard and shortboard and offer personalised technical coaching.
Do you have WiFi?+
Yes, fibre-optic internet is available in all common areas and rooms across our surf camps.
Do I need to bring my own surf equipment, towels or bed sheets?+
No, everything is provided: boards and wetsuits for surfing, plus bath towels and bed sheets in the rooms. All you need to pack is your swimsuit and your good mood.
